Why should I perform a background check? Aren’t they expensive?
Background screening is an imperative part to any company’s security needs. Just as there is insurance to protect you from fires or floods, background screening provides assurance that you are hiring a person who has shown to be safe, trustworthy, and appropriate for the position. The cost of finding out the employee you hired is either not experienced for the position, causes disturbances with fellow employees and/or clients, or worse yet, leads to civil or criminal proceedings far out ways the cost of screening.
I don’t know where to begin in the screening process or what information I need or don’t need.

This program has qualified us to assist you from the initial application process to the final hire of your employees. We will provide you with all necessary release forms, notices, and documents that are required both by the federal and local state governments including the FCRA, EEOC, & ADA. We will also assist in establishing your own internal safe hire program to ensure that you are taking all of the necessary steps to protect your business, employees, and customers. As a member of the NAPBS, we are kept apprised of the ever changing legislation and compliance requirements in the background screening industry.
I don’t want my employees to think I don’t trust them or feel I’m delving into their personal life.
Many companies spend more time picking out their company’s computer system then checking into one of their most important assets - their employees. Background screening is a sound business practice. By informing a potential employee that background screening is practiced by the company, you will deter those that may be dishonest or have ulterior motives and encourage others to be more forthcoming and honest throughout their interviewing process.
