County Criminal and Civil Search The search will provide all criminal convictions, dismissals, and pending cases matching the subject’s personal identifiers. The standard search is seven years, however, additional years may be ordered for an additional fee.
A county criminal record will provide all matching identifiers available at the courthouse: case number, file date, charges & level, disposition & disposition date, along with sentencing information. Any additional files such as probation violations or active warrants will also be provided.
Similar to a County Criminal Search, a civil search is conducted at the County Seat. The search investigates whether Civil Suits have been filed by or against the applicant. Search results will provide closed or pending cases within the last seven years. Civil filings range from unlawful detainer, small claim cases, personal injury, (Civil Lower Search) to class action and breach of contract (Civil Upper Search). Be aware that limited personal identifiers are available. In most cases there will only be a ‘name match’ of the applicant.
Social Security Trace/Address History This search authenticates the social security number provided by the applicant along with providing all current and past addresses listed under the social security number. Also included in these results are alias used with this social security number. This information is provided by the header of a credit report from one of credit reporting agencies. It allows an employer to search all jurisdictions that the applicant has resided.
Education Verification Education Verifications are conducted with the institution’s records department to verify the applicant’s attendance, dates, degree earned, and major course of study. In some cases educational institutions have out sourced their verifications to a third party. In this instance, additional fees will apply.
Employment Verification A verification of past and/or present employers is conducted with the Human Resource Department. We will verify the dates of employment, position held, salary, reason for leaving and whether or not the subject is eligible for rehire.

In some instances a DUI can be found with an MVR search in counties where the applicant hasn’t resided. Driving records go back three to five years varying on the state requested.
Professional License Verification Verification of a professional license and/or certificate is conducted at the state level. Verification of license or certification will take place at the state agency or accrediting organization providing the license. Results will contain the license number, date of issuance, current standing, and any additional information on applicants file.
Sex Offender Registry Most states have developed a repository of registered sex offenders. Registered sex offenders have restricted access to particular positions and/or locations of employment. Results of a sex offender registry allow an employer to provide the safest environment for their employees and clients.
A Sex Offender Search entails the search of State and/or County repositories of registered Sex Offenders. The location of the search is dependent on the applicant’s previous addresses listed and those found on the Address History Search. Information available varies per state.
Address History Report A national search of credit headers provides a summary of applicant name(s) and variations, current and former address(s) and date of birth used. This search will allow for complete knowledge of the counties and names used by the applicant.
